Meloncita Beauty Story Time
Hey Meloncita Babes,
Welcome back to another blog post.
If you’re reading this then you may or may not have sensitive skin but you want to gain more insight on this topic, yes? No? Maybe?
As a teen I never experienced acne, I would get the occasional stubborn pimple once in a blue moon but it was never really an issue. Fast forward to my young adult hood where I thought I had dodged the acne bullet but I was soooo wrong. I began to get really bad cystic breakouts on the side of my cheeks, white little bumps that were not showing any signs of puss, white head or black head.
I immediately began to buy expensive products that were recommend by others on the internet. Now this is not to say they don’t work because I’m sure they do… they just didn’t work for ME. But when I was finally diagnosed with rosacea by a dermatologist, I decided to heal the natural way.
What does that mean?
I began to adopt a vegan plant based diet to remove dairy products, since dairy is known to cause acne. I also removed red meats, animal protein, and began to educate myself on natural plants, and oils. It was frustrating, I cried a lot because I was just not used to seeing myself like that. I know it sounds bad to say I cried over my skin But I know I’m not the only one who has done that.
After experimenting with aloe Vera, chamomile, cucumber, celery juice, and sticking to my vegan plant based diet, I began to see some improvements. I kept track of what was helping and decided to hold on to it in case I ever needed it again.
I decided to continue making my own products; body lotions, body scrubs, cleansers, and much more and I got the idea that maybe someone else would benefit from my products. I then decided to have my products clinically tested so that I knew what I was making and selling to you was valuable and most of all SAFE to use. I know how hard it can be to deal with poor skin and I did not want to just create something and sell it just because.
All my high end skincare items are safe for all skin types, and especially those of you who have sensitive skin like I do. I’ve put so much work into creating, designing, and labeling my products so that you can enjoy your skincare journey.
If you’ve tried my products let me know what you think in the comments down below.
